This book made me laugh out loud at times. I loved that there were two antagonists. Sure, there were bits in the story that were unnecessarily long-winded. For example: Do I really need that much info about someone’s beauty routine? Oh well. It wasn’t too bad, and it kind of fit with the whole style of the book. The romance we sweet and tense at the same time.
The reason it didn’t get 5 stars (even though I’d probably read it again):
The work could have done without the crude references. The only other complaint was the difficulty of suspending my belief when it comes to a “barbarian” becoming such a happily domesticated stud with no flaws.
Fantasy is fun though. I’d read it again.
